Unquestionably the most influential punk band ever, The Sex Pistols were responsible for initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom and inspiring many later punk and alternative rock musicians. Experiencing a turbulent and maniacal career, The Pistols didn’t just kick down doors; they kicked them off the wall. They chewed through teenage anarchists, uprooting an army of polemicists and Machiavellian's. For a band who (really) only released one album and four singles, they caused an uproar, they demanded change, and they spawned a sea of imitators; and still do to this day.
